What Is a Mini Session?
A Family Mini Session is a condensed portrait experience, typically 15–20 minutes, held at a specific location and date chosen for the season’s best light and backdrop. These sessions are perfect for families who want a handful of beautiful, natural images without the time or planning of a full session.
I guide you through light posing and natural interactions so you walk away with photos that feel joyful, connected, and effortless.

What You’ll Receive:
After your mini session, you’ll receive a set of 5 images of your choice, delivered in a downloadable gallery. Upgrades are available (but never required) for heirloom-quality prints, albums, or fine art enlargements for those who fall in love with more than a few. Many of our Mini Session families also select:
- An additional set of images to add to the base collection
- A favorite portrait for a wall
- Additional gift prints for grandparents
- A set of boutique holiday cards
When and Where:
Family Minis are offered just a few select weekends each year, usually in the early fall and spring when outdoor backdrops are at their most beautiful. Sessions take place in tried-and-true locations, open space, and soft, natural colors that complement any wardrobe.
