RALEIGH NC CHILDREN'S PORTRAIT ARTIST

  What a great time I had working with this family to create this pastel heirloom portrait in celebration of their son's first birthday milestone. I headed over to their place to capture the reference photos for his portrait and enjoyed visiting with his mom and grandma while we worked with him to catch the perfect expression. There were so many precious images to choose from, and they settled on this sweet serious expression for his portrait painting. 

Pastel heirloom portraits are such a perfect option for first birthday portraits. You don't have too many years to capture those sweet innocent children's portraits, and these portrait paintings definitely deliver with their simplicity and softness. It was such an honor to create this portrait of him and I know it will be treasured for generations. This portrait was taken on location just outside of Raleigh NC.
